The Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation invites you to the opening reception for Revolutionary Grain: Celebrating the Spirit of the Black Panthers in Portraits and Stories. Documentary photographer Suzun Lucia Lamaina spent five years traveling throughout the United States chronicling the lives of more than 50 former Black Panther Party members. This exhibition commemorates the humanity and legacy of the Black Panther movement through powerful portraits and narratives originally published in Lamaina’s Revolutionary Grain book.
